Clip Six: Gone Off Somewhere

Al says: Of all the DMs songs, this is the one I have been the most up and down with. Mid-tempo songs like this one and Brand New Year always do that to me. First, I made them change the key. Then I made them speed it up. Then slow it down. Then back to the original key. Then add a solo. Then change the key again. Remove the solo. Speed it up.

Then Vince punched me.

I can say, despite all my hand-wringing, I do love how the second chorus came out with the harmony tracks.

I say all of the hand-wringing made for a mighty fine song. Trying to be patient, but it's getting awfully hard to wait for the full album.

Ooh, that sounds really great, Al. Very moody and alt-sounding.

It's actually one of my favorites so far. The harmony is lovely; you sing so well with yourself!

Oh, and um...what's the matter with Hate Your Daddy?
